It’s used to apply pressure to the ZIP System flashing tape on roof or sidewall sheathing, ensuring a weather-tight seal. The roller not only makes tape application fast and easy, but it also provides a high-quality tape seal. It’s designed to be used in conjunction with the ZIP System tape gun. The roller will flatten any air pocket and activate the tape adhesive to bond completely with the ZIP System panels. When the proper pressure is applied, the ZIP System tape roller will leave an impression on the tape to let you know the adhesive bond has been activated.
