Description

The SIMPSON CPT66Z 6X6 ADJ POST ANCHOR is a concealed post tie that provides a clean and concealed look while providing a 1" standoff height above concrete. It is designed to reduce the potential for decay at the post end and satisfies code requirements for posts that are exposed to weather, water splash or in basements. It is tested and load rated for uplift, download and lateral load. It is part of a system of concealed connectors that includes the CBTZ and CJT. It is made of ZMAX®-galvanized steel and has a knife plate, washers and standoff base. The standoff base has an additional textured, flat black powder-coat finish for aesthetic purposes. It is suitable for use with 6x6 posts and is ideal for decks, pergolas, patios, and other outdoor structures.
