Description

The Big Timber BTX8112 8 x 1-1/2" Bronze Star Flat Head Screws is a pack of 6,500 general-purpose corrosion-resistant exterior wood screws that are ideal for exterior professional operations using hard or soft woods, chipboard, and other tough or treated materials. The screws are made of hardened steel with triple ceramic coating, which provides 1200-hour corrosion resistance in both ACQ and salt spray conditions. The screws have a self-countersinking head with under-head cutting nibs, deep, wide, sharp threads that provide maximum holding power, and a knurled shank that makes the screw less tiring to drive. The screws have a true flat head with cutting nibs that cleanly countersink the screw flush into wood. The screws have a Torx/Star Drive recess that provides twice the torque of Phillips and square drives, reduces camout and end load, gives better bit life, and reduces spinning and fastener damage.
