The Simpson Strong-Tie IUS2.06/11.88 Face Mount I-Joist Hanger is a hybrid hanger that combines the advantages of face-mount and top-mount hangers. It is used to install 2" x 11-7/8" I-joists when a top flange hanger is not required. The hanger features a Strong-Grip seat that allows the I-joist to snap securely into place without the need for joist nails, resulting in a low installed cost. The hanger also has easy-to-reach face nails and self-jigging locator tabs for easier installation. The IUS2.06/11.88 hanger is made of 18-gauge steel and has a G90 galvanized finish for corrosion resistance.
