The H2.5A Hurricane Tie is a single-sided tie designed to resist moderate loads at the rafter/truss-to-top-plate connection. It is part of a continuous load path and resists both lateral and uplift loads. The symmetrical design eliminates the need for separate right and left parts. The top plate flange features an arrow line indicator to aid correct installation. The tie is made of 18 gauge galvanized steel and is available in G90 galvanized, stainless steel or ZMAX coating. The product dimensions are 1-3/8" x 6".
