The BULK7-1/4" 40T Saw Blade is a high-quality circular saw blade manufactured by Diablo Tools. It is designed for cutting through ferrous metals and stainless steels with a cordless or corded circular saw. The blade features specially formulated Cermet II teeth that provide high heat tolerance and increased hardness for superior wear and life, delivering up to 25 times longer life, 50 times cooler cuts, and 10 times faster cuts when compared to standard grinding discs. The blade has a Triple Chip Grind and Perma-SHIELD® coating that allows it to slice through the toughest of metals to produce precise, burr-free cuts with less sparks. The blade’s optimized design reduces wandering and deflection of metal, creating precise cuts that require virtually no re-work. The blade is suitable for cutting steel studs, angle iron, flat bar, channel, EMT conduit, and all-thread with thicknesses of studs and tubing (wall thickness 1/16" (16 gauge) min 1/4" max); plates and bars (thickness 1/8" (11 gauge) min 1/2" max); and rods (diameter 1/4" min 1-1/2" max).
