Description

The Bronze Star Construction Screw 17X7 CTX177-25 TF177-25 by Big Timber is a pack of 25 screws that are part of the CTX Construction Screw series. The screws are #17 size and 7 inches long with a 6-point star (Torx) drive and a round washer head. They are made of heat-treated and hardened steel, making them more durable than ordinary screws and a superior alternative to traditional lag screws. The sharp deep cutting threads and a knurled shank allow for quick easy driving into wood, and a notched Type 17 point allows for quick starting and prevents the screw from “walking”. The screws are triple-coated with Big Timber’s proprietary exterior grade Bronze Star finish that exceeds the corrosion resistance standard of the ASTM A153 hot dip galvanized fasteners specification.
