Description

The 4.75GL FB Asphalt RF CTG is a heavy-bodied fibered asphalt coating that is reinforced with mineral fillers. It cures to a tough, flexible, weather-resistant film and has excellent adhesion to asphaltic, metal, and masonry roof surfaces. It resists damage which may result from minor expansion and contraction caused by weather, temperature variation, and normal building vibration. It is recommended for resurfacing and rejuvenating old, worn roofs. The coverage is approximately 1.5 to 2 gallons per 100 square feet. The coverage depends on the texture and porosity of the surface. All surfaces to be coated must be dry and swept or brushed clean from grease, oil, rust, scale, loose paint, and dirt. Holes and tears should be patched with roof cement and suitable patching fabric. It can be applied by brush or spray equipment. Allow to dry thoroughly (minimum 48 hours) between coats. Do not apply over damp or wet surfaces.
